S3 Eva Changes Her Name... and Fires Tyra?

Here's the articlet from TV Guide:

Top Model "Eva the Diva" Pulls a Naomi on Tyra
That's gratitude for ya. Eva Pigford, the winner of America's Next Top Model, Cycle 3, has canned both of her managers, Benny Medina and (gulp!) Tyra Banks, the New York Post reports. Further, she's finally trading her oinker of a surname for her middle name, Marcille. "She's looking for a fresh start," an insider tells the paper. Meaning, she's tired of the paparazzi calling out, "Here Piggy, Piggy!"

I have to say, Marcille sounds better than Pigford. And you know that Tyra's totally gonna take Eva out of the opening credits, now...

I didn't even realize that Tyra was still involved in her career. That's interesting I wonder how that worked. Well sounds to me like she's really trying to make it on her own, without the Top Model title.

really smart move. ever since i found out her last name was pigford, she looked more and more piglet-like each time i saw her. it's just not good exposure.

yep I thought the same thing! It just doesn't help her nose is upturned and everything XD;; especially emblazened on that movie she did, "PIGFORD" right next to her little upturned nose. Who wouldn't draw those conclusions? Marcille = much better.

I don't know why this is reason for people to "needlessly bash Tyra". Tyra didn't choose Eva's last name. And models fire their managers all the time.

Speaking of not in the credits, why isnt adrienne ( sp?) in the credits? she was the first winner. She doesnt even bring her up in any of the current cycles.
