ANTM conspiracies: Who took Bre's Granola Bars?

Bre coming up as a candidate for 'the bitch' of Cycle 5 [I vehemently disagree], it got me thinking.

The one question I've always wanted to ask Bre [is WHO she thinks took the granola bars that spawned granola-redbull-gate. My theory was always that Nicole took them but they edited it out to make her look innocent and sweet since she ended up winning.

Do you think that the show would really insert themselves that way, just to create some drama? I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.

I really liked Bre. She was serious about the competition, and seemed to really know her strengths and weaknesses. I tended to agree with most of her opinions. Plus that walk? FEAYCE.

GranolaGate was stupid of her, but IDC. Most of us get involved in little scuffles like that occasionally. To be "the bitch," you've really got to carry it through the entire season. I just didn't see that.

I think that after a while, being on a reality starts to wear you out emotionally, too. It could take something as stupid as a missing granola bar to set you off because you are so physically, mentally, and emotionally worn out.

I thought it was Nicole, because at the reunion when Tyra asked everyone who took them she just kind of simpered and shrugged. But I really despise Nicole.

I just looked it up on Youtube. Thank you. I'm now MORE convinced that Nicole took them. Tyra never specifically asks Nicole to deny that she took them. She glosses right over her and acuses Jayla. I don't believe Tyra when she says she doesn't know anything about it.

Nah, I don't think production did it. It's possible I suppose.

I think it was Nicole or maybe Kim, because Kim seemed to be trying a little too hard to smooth things over between Bre and Nicole.

She asked Jayla if it was her, but Jayla said she was sleeping. Actually the only person Tyra didn't specifically ask is Nicole, which makes me believe even more that she did it.

I will always say production (a camera man got hungry, took it...) unless I am given cold hard evdiance that it was someone else. Production on ANTM is always doing shaky things (the whole bulimic thing earlier cycles makes me think of that.)

Yes. Yes I do. And I don't believe that Tyra's vote only counts as much as the other judges'. I think she has almost total control over the winner, eliminations, etc.

I bet it was Jayla- she was pretty quiet about it or Kim- she seemed pretty nosey.

or maybe Bre didn't realize that she had opened the box and eaten one before and didn't remember, that would be pretty sad, but possible.

This is the one theory I'm almost certain is wrong. If Bre ate them, then there's tape of Bre eating them and ANTM would have played it to death so there would be no mistake that their prescious Nicole didn't do it ... which she did.

i don't think nicole did it. she doesn't strike me as the type of person who would be like, "hey, i'm hungry, i think i'm going to go over to bre's stuff and take some of her food." If she did take her bre's granola bar, i think she'd at least apologize and say something like 'i thought they were kim's/nik's/jayla's" or at least not make a big deal about bre trashing her red bull's. i think the producers/production crew did it. afterall, cycle 5 has to be the most boringest seasons ever. i think they did it just to get a sub plot...when you look at the 'major events' through out the cycle, you get the limo kiss, lisa vs coryn, and the granola bar incident. none of which were big deals/that entertaining

I don't understand how no one could know when the girls are being filmed constantly. How is even a mystery to anyone who worked on the show? Are they just leaving it a mystery so Nicole doesn't look like a complete liar/so that Bre isn't totally wrong?

I couldn't care less who actually did it, but it bothers me that the girls are being filmed 24/7 and that everyone's claiming to have no idea.

S'just silly to think that whoever did it managed to bypass every cameraman in the building.

It sounds like Bre's reduced a lot of her accent since the show. She sounded a lot more... I guess neutral and professional on the "Ask Bre" thing.

i think it was obvious it was the girl with the black hair. the look on her face and expression so showed it was her and she just knew how to be quiet and let others cause drama for themselves.

Never figured Nicole but now when you think about it, could acctually be her.

I always thought it'd be Jayla or possibly one of the camera man, to stir up drama since Lisa left and they had forgiven Kim.

Did she ever say that any of her granola bars are actually missing? I only remember her first reaction being "hey my box is open"

I figure she opened the box, just absentmindedly as the cameramen were busy watching Jayla sleep or something silly like that. Then when Bre looked at the box next she jumped to the conclusion that somebody had eaten it, and because she was annoyed with Nicole she jumped to the conclusion that it was her.

Yeah? Possible?
