Teyona at Sanlam South African Fashion Week A/W 2010

Teyona walked for at least five designers at Sanlam SA Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2010 which was held from September 16th through the 19th.

NOTE: One photo might be NSFW-- there's a see-through blouse.



I’m not a fan of Teyona’s but I certainly give credit where credit is due and I’m really impressed that she booked these shows.

I don't get where the hate is coming from - she looks fierce as shit in every one of these! Runway is definitely her strong suit.

I'm not a huge fan of Teyona's either (Creepy Chan should've won!) but I will say that these aren't bad at all. Her eyes are a little dead, but in the last few frames with the bangs, she looks a lot like Dani. I really think she belongs on the runway and not in front of the cameras.

She looks amazing, and so do her bangs.

As much as I loved Allison and thought she should have won, Teyona is the one getting work... not her. So, for a change, the judges chose the right winner. Sad but true.

is it just me, or does she kind of resemble vivica a fox in the abigail betz shots?

my complaint is that she just looks really sad in almost all the pictures, and I can't tell why that would be the look/pose she would be going for in every different show.

I hate her less than I did when she was on the show, she looks fairly ok here, but she really is toe-up a lot of the time.

Yay Teyona!

Although I'm not such a fan of the styling, make-up or the clothes of this particular show, I've been really impressed by Teyona's work recently - especially her print work! Out of all - and I mean ALL of the winners - I think she looks like the only "real" model of the bunch. A bit skinny for my tastes, but the alien thing really works for her, and she is facially a stunning girl.

I may have been a bit put off/confused when she won at first, but I now see the light ;) Damn Ty & Co. props for the good decision (finally). Also THANK YOU for not forcing her to do that CG shit *coughcareerkillercough*... YET *shudders in anticipation*

Some of these she looks really great and in others she looks tired and haggard.

What's with the runway being behind people though?

Most models on the runway look bored lol. Most of the time designers don't want the models to smile or look cheerful unless it fits with their collection.

The outfit in the last photo: haute couture bag lady!!

I like her in the bangs, it's different. She looks so good on the runway! Her face is a little stern, I think, but overall she looks really good.

Edited to add:
I just realized, I would be so tempted to stick out my ankle and trip one of those models on the last runway shown.

wouldn't look twice at her on the runway. which is good for the designer because all eye attention directs to an outfit if there's nothing going on in the face.

Eyes? Try the whole face. She's making the same "I'm soooo fucking bored" expression in all of these. If I were a buyer, her whole, "I hate being in this outfit" facial expression would turn me off..

She definitely looks great with Bangs.
My only problem with these is her face. I wish she would have done something, but I dunno what. Lots of runway models have that sorta bored look anyway.
But yay for her.

Not a fan of Teyona at all. In fact her looks downright terrify me sometimes, but I will admit that she isn't looking half bad in all of these. She's better suited to the runway, methinks, as opposed to print work.

I am not a fan of Teyona, but these are pretty decent and definitely do not warrant all the strong dislike of her. IMO, she was one of the two/three deserving to win her cycle, and it's nice to see she's working legitimately.

I'm not a big fan of her on the runway, but the last few photos show that bangs look amazing on her. I prefer her print work more but good work Teyona!
