I was looking at Polaroid photographers again and spotted this photo of Nicole Fox of the current cycle! It was taken by Mark Sink. His website is a little annoying to navigate, so here is a link to his blog, where I found the picture.




This is a wet plate. Gorgeous.

It is an early form of photography, before they figured out how to fix images to paper! They use this syrupy stuff called collodion. It's a pain in the butt haha

STUNNING. I love wet plate photography.

Maybe she could be the first ANTM winner to make it big? Like Alice on AuNTM? I mean, at this point I'm just feeling a little embarrassed for Tyra that it hasn't happened yet, this many cycles in.

I just don't get her.. I'd probably be friends with her in real life but I don't get the whole giant boner everyone has over her. I just can't bring myself to jump on her fan boat. All I think about is her giant chin... and damnit I hate it when people do that damn chin-up thing. She's cute don't get me wrong but I don't get the hype.

Well, I checked the Nicole tags before this was posted, and it wasn't there. If you find the entry, I will delete this one, but no one else has mentioned it, so I don't think it was here. (Maybe another site or ONTD?)

I love her almost as much as I loved Allison.

However, just like Allison, I think the ANTM powers-that-be will decline to give the win to the more introverted girl. Apparently, American=bubbly.

Allison wasn't really introverted. She was weird, yes, but introverted no - I don't think she was really all that more reserved than Teyona, who was one of the quieter ones until the end of the series.

They've given the award to the more introverted girls - there was arguably Yoanna House from Cycle 2, Naima Mora from Cycle 4, and McKey from Cycle 11.

I googled 'Nicole Fox' and got photos of another Nicole Fox who is Miss Hawaii 2008... what are the odds?

Pretty high actually - Nicole is a very common first name and Fox is a very common last name :D
