I'm actually bummed about this. Yes, I know the show jumped the shark back in Cycle 9, but dammit, I love makeover meltdowns, elimination panel drama, you name it. I really wish they'd started the girls/guys cycles way before this, tho. Also, I wish they'd put all cycles on Netflix or something. I've been jonesing for a C2/C3 marathon for forever.

Golly. I thought it would never end.

It's still one of the show which I waited for, if not for the lack of interesting fashion reality show (aside from Project Runway, which I do hope wont get cancelled)).
But yeah, it had lost some of it's fierceness. I stopped caring after season 16?
It's a good show. Really.

I'm sad. Even though I hadn't watched regularly in a long time (the last season I watched regularly was c19, I didn't really watch 17 and 18), I'm sad to see it go, mainly because it was just such a huge part of my life in middle school and high school, and watching the reruns in marathons when I was home sick. I'll always love it for it's nostalgia, it is an iconic reality show.
But it did need to end. It got crappy a long time ago. The reason I stopped watching was in cycle 20, when the budget was so low that Tyra had to do the contestant's makeup, lol, that was when I had had it.

This season is actually pretty decent, although the only photographer they ever work with is Tyra's boyfriend, Tyra, or their artistic director. And is Vegas really going to be their international trip location this year? *smh* ANTM represents having antm pot luck viewing parties with friends who have since scattered across the country at my neighbor's apartment against his wishes with the caveat that he could show us wierd shit movies afterwards. Good bye early 20s. I guess I'm in my 30s now.

This shouldn't be surprising, yet it is. I figured Tyra would keep it going for years and years more. But yeah, I quit watching in the middle of the Brits VS America season, because of Kelly Cutrone. The show had grown lame and frustrating for many reasons by then, but I had been able to tolerate those flaws. But not Kelly. I really don't know what Tyra was thinking with that woman.
